DISPATCHES FROM (A)MENDED AMERICA: In the month leading up to the 2009 Presidential Inauguration, Godfrey L. Simmons, Jr., a 42-year-old black man, and Brandt Adams, a 25-year-old white man, traveled throughout the American South conducting 100 interviews in an attempt to better understand the significance of the election of America’s first African American President. The interviews were digitally recorded and crafted into an exciting new documentary theatre piece. Featuring: Brandt Adams, Brigitte Barnett, Sarah K. Chalmers, Jacob Ming-Trent, Godfrey L. Simmons, Jr., and James Wallert. DISPATCHES plays Thursday May 19 at 7pm and Saturday May 21 at 7pm
